Walking The Dog
It's a daily round
of walking the dog.
Rain, snow, sleet,
gales, hail, heat,
cold,
and in-between;
don't be mean,
walk the dog each day.
'But I'm too busy,'
you utter in defense.
'I'm too
tired,' a second
complains, after a long,
stressful day. 'I'm going
to a meeting,' a third
proclaims. Meanwhile,
poor Patches moans and
groans, wondering how
long she has to wait for
her family to open the
gate and
walk before it's
too late. We all look
at her big eyes, and decide,
it's time for a walk!
